Q: So, what's the deal? Who's Her Tallest?
A: It started early on in the Cataclysm forums, before Gallywix even existed or Maldy was widely known, with the suggestion of a female Trade Prince – a different sort of female lore character who's not an elf or a stereotypical fantasy female archetype, and not a foil for or dependent upon a male counterpart. We set out to create someone quirky, strong, sneaky, steampunk, and just different. Eventually, we created our hero, Mida Silvertongue, otherwise known as Her Tallest, and spawned the Trade Princess Movement. Our efforts were so successful we actually got our character written into the game as Boss Mida, otherwise known as Her Tallness. She is leader of the goblin slums, liaison to the Warchief for the Bilgewater Cartel, and the closest thing goblins have to a leader in the live, unphased World of Warcraft. Ultimately, this guild is dedicated to her with the hopes that one day she'll take over and Gallywix will be ousted! For more information, please see the WoWwiki or WoWpedia pages (links below).

Trade Princess Movement established: January 30th, 2010
For Her Tallest established: April 10th, 2010

Q: What is the Guild's storyline/goal exactly?
A: The Guild's express purpose is to put Boss Mida in power, bring down the fiend Gallywix, and bring in a tidy profit while restoring the glory of the Bilgewater cartel! We design our roleplay around this, and around a theme of integrating with the Horde for profit and survival. Originally, our movement started only to create some female racial leader for the goblins (again, see the WoWwiki page for more information), but for the purposes of the guild we support the most likely candidate for female Trade Prince; Boss Mida.

Q: This is primarily an RP guild right? But I want to show my support and join too, and I don't RP! Can I?
A: Yes! Non-RPers are welcome but ONLY on Goblin toons! All other races need a very good RP reason to join. And naturally, all non-RPsers still need to follow all of our rules, including those not centered around RP like those regarding griefing, hate speech, and others. We're quite casual, so it's okay if you don't have a lot of time. But it is a Goblin guild after all!

Q: I want to RP, but never have before or I'm new to it. Do you have to be an experienced RPer to join?
A: We welcome newbies! New blood is good! But we do require that you be open to suggestion and willing to learn. We're lore compliant, so keep things within the world and storyline of Azeroth. If you're not sure, ask us! We can help you avoid being a Mary Sue and be the best RPer you can be with a character you love. Don't be intimidated; the world needs more RPers! For more information, see the For Her Tallest RP Guidelines thread!

Q: What's your policy on ERP? (Erotic Role Play)
A: We're not that kind of guild. What you do in private is your own business, but we do not hold, promote, or condone ERP events, nor anything against ToS. If you're found to be ERPing in public, expect to be instantly kicked from the guild. So no, we are not an ERP guild. Speaking of which...

Q: What kinds of stuff do you guys do aside from RP? Raid, PVP, what?
A: We're primarily a social guild so far, but we do hope to do a little causal raiding in the future and of course help each other out as needed with leveling, dungeons, and whatnot. We definitely plan on fun events, many RP related but plenty in which non-RPers may be interested as well.

Q: Is Guild chat in character or out of character?
A: Guild chat is in-character (abbreviated IC), but we have a separate chat channel for out-of-character (abbreviated OOC) chat and general socializing. Guild chat requires the use of ((these brackets)) for OOC chatter. To join our OOC chat type /join FHT. For RP purposes, the IC chat channel is to be treated as a radio frequency!

Q: So what are your rules? What do I have to do?
A: We have a general 3 strikes and you're out rule. Strikes can be forgiven in time, depending on the offense and will be discussed with the accused privately on a case by case basis. If you’re into making trouble OOCly, then this is not the guild for you. Strikes are received for any of the following.

1. Trolling/Griefing/General lack of respect toward fellow players, especially guild mates
2. Lower-level item ninjaing
3. Excessive camping of Players or any NPC camping.
4. Disrupting RP with OOC behavior
5. Taking IC drama OOC

Other issues and behaviors, however, result in instant guild banishment, such as
1. Hate speech
2. Harassment
3. Public ERPing
4. High-level item and rare-item ninjaing
5. Breaking ToS

Events in the past have led to enforcing these rules regarding instant banishment, particularly when it comes to multiple reports of harassment, be they from people within the guild or out. I just want to remind all people, whether in our guild, a different RP community, or prospective recruits, we do take these instant-banishment offenses VERY seriously, and will not tolerate anyone tarnishing the reputation of the guild.

These rules will be enforced and are in place to protect our guildies, contribute to the server in a positive way, and protect Boss Mida’s good name. You don’t want to sully Her Tallness’s reputation do you? Of course not! We're looking for mature, casual folks who follow the TOS and respect their fellow players.

Q: What’s the Hierarchy like? Who’s in charge, and what are the ranks?
A: The ranks are as follows:

The KIA (The GMs): Brumley, Snuffit, and Roulette. These are the leading founders of the original thread that spawned our movement!

Agents (Officers): Trixxiz, Minzel and Zeck. Generally speaking, to be an agent, you have to have been member for 5 months, has helped with at least 1 event, and accepts offer to be an officer. Agents have unlimited bank access.

Secretary (Quasi-officers): Gazeel. Generally speaking, to be a secretary, you have to have been a consistent and dependable Lackey, shown up to at least 2 events, and has gone above and beyond in some situations. Bank access includes 20 gold and 10 items a day from any tab except rare items, which they have 5 withdrawals a day.

Retiree (Inactive officers): Azhurdan, Fizzex, and Brisingold. These are officers that have either temporarily suspended their game time or have not been online for over half a year. They have the authority of officers and are to be respected as such, but do not count on them being online very often.

Lackey: To be a Lackey, one must prove to be a valuable, productive, and dedicated member of the guild. Bank access includes 5 gold and 5 items a day from any tab except the rare items tab.

Sapper: This is our primary rank of all new comers yet to prove themselves. You must register to the website before attaining this rank. They may view and donate to the bank, as well as withdraw three items a day from the first tab of the bank and one from the fourth tab. If you would like something from a different tab, feel free to ask an officer or GM.

Alt: Clearly, this is for alts. You can have as many alts as you like in the guild, but the racial rules still apply. They have the same permissions as Sappers.

Inactive: These are non-officers (not counting alts) that have not signed on in three months or more, or who are yet to register to our website. This rank was created to make guild calendar invites much easier, and keep things more streamlined. We do NOT believe in g-kicking people just because of inactivity. Real life happens! Inactive members have no bank access or privileges.

Q: How do I join?
A: Reading this FAQ is a start! From here, you will need to read the For Her Tallest RP Guidelines to learn a little more about how we Role Play. Any thread marked with PLEASE READ needs to be read before you can submit an application.

The next big step, though, is to fill out the application itself! How long it takes will depend on the KIA’s current schedule, but we'll be on it ASAP. We may have to ask you more questions on a case-by-case basis. If you don’t respond to our additional questions within a week, it is very likely your application will be declined, but you're welcome to re-apply. We will also have a few in-game questions to ask you, and it is your responsibility to catch a guild officer when he or she is online, not theirs to find you. I'd recommend adding all the officers (minus retirees) to your friends list and just waiting for one of us to pop online. Just message us with a friendly "Hey, I applied to your guild, and apparently have some questions I need to answer?" or something of the sort.

If you were recruited in-game through an official guild officer (see the list above), you must still fill out an application in order to register to the website. You must still check that you've read the mandatory threads and mention somewhere in the application you were recruited in-game, and thus, have already answered the extra, in-game questions we have to ask.

Until completion of both in-game and website application processes, you will not be made a full member of the guild.

Please, please, please keep in mind that it is important to check back on this site regularly! Read the front page news for important announcements, but be sure to check the forums too! The Break Room is our general discussion, but also the most likely place you’ll find discussion and planning for guild and RP events. Feel like RPing? Or maybe you’ve got a fan fiction to share? Or a lore question? Head on down to the Goblin Slums, and share your story-based thoughts there! If you’re new, or you just want to welcome new comers, check out New Employee Orientation! If you want to stay up-to-date on more in-depth policy changes, read up in The Boss’ Command Board, where we publish updates to our rules and policies, as well as finalized plans for events! Most importantly, officers, check the officer’s forum frequently for VERY important, top-secret, super-classified, KIA business!

Thank you for your interest!
