Donizzle was quite pleased with the testing done today. _The durability of the alloy prove to be perfect. ..Maybe if the exposure time is controlled like in the original attempts …He said to himself . Oh well I will be tomorrow_ His eyes run across the room, and stop at a foreign object on the lab. _ a delivery? _he tough. He approached the box it was sealed and on top of it there was a note. “For my Boomie”. Don’s face change to absolute terror _ She found me…

His hands trembled as he removed the top of the crate… he hesitate for a moment. Don moved his fingers carefully around the border of the box. _good no wires_ the goblin sigh relieved. Promptly the warlock tossed the top aside. Don’s eye grow wide _….So many … Sooo much Paperwork _ his eyes were full of bliss almost like a wretched elf rolling on a pile of mana crystals and twice as disturbing.

((Hi!!! My deliciously green people. I have a pile… well actually piles of sketches doing nothing and some of them had histories sooo…there I'm doing stuff and will post them gradually in a not specific order))

... how you call does things ..Empanadas de carne? oh a is trollish dish I wish I could conjure them, if I have to eat another mana strudel I swear I´ll kill the mage that....
Anyway you didn't came here just to bring tasty treats...
Oh so you still insist in knowing about my past I suppose there is no harm now pass me that dragon chili sauce.

I was a relatively a normal orc child in my younger years before the corruption. You seem disappointed (the orc smiled) don't forget that my kind considered arcane magic something unnatural and exclusive to the Draenei or perhaps even of the Arakkoa but it wasn't the way of the spirits and certainly not the way of warrior.

When Gul'dan came looking for acolytes I was chosen because that motherless son ogre (pardon my elvish) said I was on malleable age.

… My training you ask, well it wasn't as brutal as the grunts yet certainly strict. We where to learn the grimoire word by word ...considering that my people rarely used written language and I was learning demonic at the same time … yet failure wasn't option... (Zamaul eyes when distant for awhile) I won't lie to you the sensation ....the Power of Fel is like no other ...yet you feel is not your own and it will never be...

...So this where deep fried on lard. I must said little, one of the things I miss of working with trolls is how they know how to prepare pork I miss the chicharrones they just to make on the valley of the spirits, before the new warchief came...oh my apologies I have been here on Dalaran far too long I'm getting a bit crazy. the human customs are a bit ... even in the Sunreaver district....oh right right... you want to know why and how a became a mage.

Although I hate that snooty brat without him probably be a lowly worker helping in Magram's shop...

Who you ask ...well the warden's son. When the bloodhaze pass many of us started to fall in some sort of lethargic state specially those who used demonic powers. That pup had a mage tutor and I must say if I was his teacher I'd already had punch him in the face (which I later did*wink*) , arrogant and stubborn. But his unwillingness to learn was what allow me to learn, I wasn't that verse in common, but because the mage had to repeat up 3 or 4 times the same lessons help me to understand them. Of course my mental state during that period was so hazy I just imitate the hand movements and mumble the spells.

... then Grommash came and free us... now pass me some more chile

....what? ok ok you want more

when they came I felt something I didn't quite comprehended I recall running to the wardens house and the little worm yelling something in common about my matriarch which make me send him some distance thru the air with a punch I was enrage but not like the old tainted demonic fury it was ...different... any way by the time I regain clarity I had the arcane grimoire in front of me so grabbed a satchel and well took it.

...don't look me with those eyes I said child but the brat was around 16 years old at his age I was already calling demons and also he deserve it.

...then the whole deal with the burning legion scourge world tree thing happen (I was a helper moving boxes and building defenses) ... after all that I didn't have much to do so I took a some odd jobs and during my leisure time I started to study the Grimoire. It took me some time since it was written in common.

I was afraid ...or better say ashamed because this wasn't something an orc was supposed to be interest in. The majority preferred to return to the old ways some even stay practicing the dark arts in secrecy. But I never knew the way of the spirits and never liked demonology ... well I hated the memories anyway.

...during that time I remain close to the trolls living in the valley of spirits I worked as handy man taking care of small repairs here and there always hanging around the spirit lodge watching the troll mages at work and eavesdropping on the lessons. I keep my studies secret although Uthel'nay started to get suspicious.

One time while working on the roof he told me
_hey mon i didn't now ya people was in to dat_
...Err what do you mean? ... (i said)
_well Mon is only natural to curious_
(then i started to sweat)
I don't know wha..(my voice broke there)
_the troll ladies are certainly one of the finest women evah to be found _
(thank ancestors) Ha.. you caught me there friend but they are too wild for an orc
(he smiled)_look Mon take this It will help ya a lot _
and then he hand me a little palm sized book.
_ its a a little something for all the efford_
It was a orchish to common dictionary and it also was handwritten knowing that silly troll he did it him self
I know what chu doin and I know what ya people think about it ...so for now I know nothin of what ya do (then he when away with a sly smile on his face)

to be continue ....(in another post in the future that way I can make another sketch of Zamaul)

((Your style is always awesome! I am super curious about the orc and his story, I love how you did his hands.

But now I am sad, because I am hungry for Empanadas. Last week my ESL class ended and there was a big potluck where the students brought food from their area. one lady brought home-made Empanadas. THEY WERE SO GOOD. I had like, twelve. And now you mentioned them, and I KNOW there is no good restaurant that has 'em. And I am craving them. /sadface))

((well Rou if we go thru the Taxonomy side the therapods like the T-rex and the raptor where more similar to birds than reptiles. Now that doesn't mean they evolved to birds but the common ancestral parent group of both share some traits now is not posible to know the metabolic type of a death thing but is very posible to make ....I better stop there anyway fun fact there are some sketchs of comparative anatomy of dragons and other creatures I will post them later with crazy theories FOR SCIENCE!!!))

((I love that "documentary" it has some of the best theories about a possible dragon-like life form but the origin of my obsession with dragons is an old movie The Flight of Dragons. So paleontologist theorized that some dinosaurs specially the Therapods could be warm blooded or something in between since their cousins the birds are warm bloods them selves...now in azeroth we see that the proto drakes are common in cold weather so...must resist need to do science... sketches must be scan stories must be add later.. ))

Hi there boys and gurls and some elventhings which I nevah know, what?...ok ok geez Boomie don't be so pushy I will get there.

My name is Felipa Bernarda Bomberana you can call me Pipebomb. I'm a major on anatomy from the Rogue University of Shady Assassination of Kezan that's R.U.S.A.k for you peps who like acronyms ...or was it ROUNOSHASOKE ...errr oh well. I have been dedicated my life to the study of the creatures that I have killed (clears throat) have found on the field.. I meant. From the frosty north to the sands of Uldum.

Now I bring to you my master piece a comprehensive analysis of the Hexapodian reptiloids you that you call "DRAGONS" and their ties with other less glamorous (oh the scandal...) creatures like of the basiliscum family. Take that Bronzebeard.

Don: are we done yet I really need to
Pipebomb: But boomie ...I want to let everyone know about the time you and
Don: You know what I'll be in my lab. while you show this "nice" people your nonsen err study
*Pipebomb pouts* Okie

((She has resurface oh well ))

The first part of my study will focus on the more primitive cousins of the dragon. The group I call Basiliscum. If you have notice...yeah you drop the sandwich. Ok (be professional be professional).. in our world there are only four groups who share this trait.

/pulls pointer

*Points at a board which only have a number 6 on it *

Yes six extremities only the Diemetradons, Crocolisks, Basilisks and Dragons (I'm using this word loosely but we get to that later) But this isn't the only trait share between them:

  • The jaw is pronounced on all the members of this group
  • The number of claws on each extremity is always 3
  • They all have scales but they are no true reptiles (I will expand on this later)
  • All the members of this group have Osteoderms covering their backs serving as a coat of armor

This is more of a side note but I believe that the veil of the Diemetradon which is vestigial on the Crocolisks and Basilisks may have degenerate in to the horns we see know on dragons and protodragons.

Questions? Anyone?

((well she needed and excuse to escape the vaults of my mind and Rou give her one. She may keep focused but who knows...Now where the hell I have put my sketch of comparative anathomy of dragons and proto drakes ))

*pours some tea*
Pipebomb: ...And I said to the druid. If his momma can get away with getting freaky with a stag why she couldn't let him get freaky with a mountain of rubble? at least she was humanoid..ish...shape ...long story short I'm was ban from Moonglade after that...
Don: quite a tale indeed ....now release me from this bonds I have important...
*the goblin is tie to a chair with only one arm free*
Pipebomb:But Boomie I wanted to show you what new things I learn about the goblin anat...
Don: I pass... anyway I think our guest are waiting for more of your..."theories"
*points at the imaginary fourth wall*
Pipebomb: Oh right ...right .

/clears throat

Lets continue. The denture is very similar with the exception of the Basilisk but we can make this exception considering the diet of the former consist on small animals and well ROCKS!! there is an obvious adaptation of the teeth.

All this reptiloids are carnivores too with no exception (believe me once I capture a basilisk and only feed him cabbages by the second week he preferred to eat walls of his cage ...poor william I have to put him down ...the poor fella wanted to eat me... so sad so sad)

Now lets go to the meaty part (not is not the dragons have patience let work K? k). Is pretty obvious that the Basiliscum and Drakonis groups are not True reptiles (they have six freaking legs) but aside from the obvious obviety of obviedom. The dragons are endothermic, this (for you peps not well versed on the scientific lingo) means that they regulate their body temperature using internal means, such as muscle shivering or increasing its metabolism.

Now you say, but Pipebomb that could be part of the Titan design and I will say stop listening to Brozebeard ..."A Titan did it" is the oldest answer in the book of "I love the Titans so much my beard (good thing I don't have one) will become a temple to their glory For the Titans" (i hate that book). No no no NO! We are here to do science, a cover or selves in scientific goo of scientificness to remove those dwarvish preconceptions.

What was I saying....

Oh yeah The dragons thrive in cold weather. We have seen protodrakes roaming on the Northrend skies in fact the dragons seem to prefer caves on high snowy mountains an endothermic (cold blood) creature will fail to survive. Lets not forget about the basilisk communities in Zul'Drakar so close to the snow. This let me to the conclusion that this creatures were far more spread before the scourge came to the north.

((here should be a pretty sketch that I forgot to scan but will be here shortly))

((don't worry about Don, PB is just a bit too.... enthusiastic, she just find out that Don is alive, originally she was his bodyguard and she was worry about his security. Now she will make sure that Boomie (giggle) never gets out of her sight EVERR!!!))
